Contact Diagnostics are used to identify certain diseases and illnesses. At Pierson Pet Hospital, we encompass various amounts of diagnostics from digital imaging, cautery, Heska and Idexx blood machines to a variety of essay snap tests. Contrary to our competitors we run specialty non-routine testing that almost guarantees a diagnosis or provides answers to often unanswered questions. In-House Laboratory Our hospital is equipped with a full in-house laboratory featuring advanced IDEXX equipment. This allows us to quickly run tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and parasite screening, often providing results during your pet’s visit. Fast, accurate results help our veterinarians make timely decisions and begin treatment right away, ensuring the best possible care for your pet.

For more advanced testing, we also partner with IDEXX’s reference laboratory. This gives us access to a wide range of specialized diagnostics, ensuring your pet receives the most comprehensive care possible.

Enhance your diagnostic workup Ultrasound SVS Imaging is a mobile ultrasound service serving veterinarians in the Detroit area. We are able to see your patient typically within the same week, and sometimes even within 24 hours of your request, or at your client’s convenience. When we arrive at your hospital, we are typically in and out within 30 minutes. We have on-site access to board-certified cardiologists, radiologists, internists, and criticality to fit your desired diagnostic need.
